TEEN YOGA CLASSES (13 to 17 years old)
Learn effective yogic tools to handle stress, anger, anxiety, depression, and other challenges facing teens. Practice breathing techniques to calm, energize, and balance the nervous system, practice flowing sequences, challenging poses, partner and group poses, restorative yoga, and deep relaxation. Dive deeper into the history and philosophy of yoga, sanskrit, and meditation. Students will develop compassion and self-confidence, empowering them to be agents of peace in the world. Classes are 1 hour for this age group.
CHILDREN’S YOGA CLASSES (6 to 12 years old)
Improve strength, flexibility, and coordination. Children will learn how to focus and center themselves with various breathing and visualization techniques. They will also learn self-respect and respect for others with the practice of fun and challenging poses, partner and group poses, lots of yoga games, breathing and basic anatomy. Class is 45 minutes.
