Catch Consumers With Mobile Ads

The use of smartphones, like iPhones and Blackberries, allows consumers to be connected to their favorite social media outlets 24 hours a day. Most organizations, from auto insurance companies to clothing designers, not only have a website, but they also have a Facebook page, Twitter account, and an iPhone application. The key to being effective at utilizing these social media tools is by not appearing to advertise to the consumer, but instead to build a relationship with the consumer and establish a level of trust (Wright 2010).
